It has recently been refurbished with added facilities like a gym, a new restaurant and meeting facilities. THE Chinese Swimming Club, Penang, was first formed in 1928 and is one of oldest swimming clubs in Penang. In 1962, the club introduced the first and only Olympic-sized pool in the state. Located in Tanjung Bungah, it still serves as an important venue for water sports competitions like water polo, swimming, etc, especially among Penang schools.
