Chingay in Penang
THE traditional Chingay festival is held yearly at the end of December. It showcases the skills of men who balance giant flag poles on their forehead, hands or even stomachs. Besides that, Chingay in Penang also boasts many colourful floats,lion and dragon dances, school bands, traditional Indian dances and even a bullock cart.
